Portrait of Chris Sammarone

About

A photographer of small, unrepeatable things.

I create cinematic photographs and films that feel honest, polished, and alive. Whether I’m documenting a wedding, telling a brand’s story, or capturing a family in a season they never want to forget, my goal is the same: to create something that looks beautiful today and means even more years from now. For more than a decade, I’ve helped shape visual stories for organizations including Warner, Wix, Kaplan, and the University of Pittsburgh, while also working with independent businesses, couples, and families across fifteen countries. That range has taught me how to walk into almost any room, understand what matters, and capture it with intention. I’m drawn to genuine connection, natural movement, strong composition, and the small in-between moments that often tell the biggest story. As a husband, father, entrepreneur, and lifelong storyteller, I understand that the most meaningful work isn’t simply about making something look good—it’s about preserving what it felt like to be there.

What I hold to

A few things I keep at the front of the camera.

01

High definition, always

8K stills and video on the Canon R5 II. Detail you can crop into, print big, and still feel the room.

02

Story before setup

I plan for the scene, not the shot list. The best frames come from following what's already unfolding.

03

Made for the web

Years of building sites taught me photos are the core of a quality digital experience — every frame is delivered ready to live online.

04

Timeless over trend

Nothing edited to date itself. Your photos should still feel right in twenty years.

A quiet lifestyle scene

Favourite shoots

The kind of days I love most.

  • — Small, in-the-round weddings under thirty guests.
  • — Slow mornings at home, with coffee and one soft window.
  • — Editorial portraits, one quiet hour, no direction.
  • — Brand stories built around a real, quiet ritual.
